Subliminal Stories and other photographs.
Sitting in a train sixteen thousand kilometers from where I live is an act of the sublime. The rushing frames of people and places, unseen. Distorted through the lens, yet enough colour, grey and shape to construct or deconstruct the cursory moments a traveler confronts, away from the tourist spots others diligently photograph.

Interconnection & dislocation
painting, drawing and photo imaging - August 2019 Selandra Hub Gallery
Interconnection & Dislocation encapsulates a series of artworks exploring the disconnection with nature, landscape, change, weather, environment in what Ziauddin Sardar terms "post normality".
Navigating the psychological landscapes that determine our relationships to people and nature is increasingly influenced by technology and the
demands of population. Communication and engagement is being compromised and distorted by the disconnection we experience in a world increasingly contradicted by the complexity and confusion we experience as we confront change.
